Corley Family 2008
Here’s a quick and simple chronology of our branch of the Corley family:
- Andy met Kristi in October of 1995 at Nebraska Christian College in Norfolk, NE
- formally engaged the end of June, 1996
- married December 7th, 1996
- bought first home in December of 1997, on 2nd Street in Norfolk, NE
- adopted “Copper“, our yellow lab / golden retriever mix on Valentine’s day, 1998
- Alexandria Joy Corley (Alex) born on January 19, 1999
- David Andrew Corley (Drew) born on September 19, 2000
- sold house & moved to Kristi’s parents’ house to live there 10 months while paying off debt and raising support to work as full-time missionaries with New Tribes Mission
- accepted as missionaries with NTM in May of 2001
- moved to Deltona, FL in August of 2001 and lived in the missionary house owned by Deltonal Alliance Church for four months while beginning ministry with New Tribes
- began full-time ministry as a MS FoxPro programmer with NTM’s Computer Services Department
- moved into an apartment at the NTM USA Home Office in Sanford, FL in November, 2001
- moved into a much more spacious NTM apartment in the same building in February, 2002
- transferred ministries from one department into another, becoming the main Internet programmer for NTM’s Communications Department and www.ntm.org
- Kaitlyn Elaine Corley (Kaitlyn) born on July 28, 2003
- purchased a home in Deltona, FL and moved in November of 2007
- adopted “Lindsay“, our black lab puppy in November, 2008
- January, 2009 … after a month of marital counseling, began 6-month “biblical separation”
- began 6-month sabbatical from ministry in February of 2009
- resigned from ministry with NTM, effective August 1, 2009
- began full-time, salaried position as Database Administrator / Data Center Coordinator with the Catholic Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. on June 22, 2009
