Alex was so sweet at the Labor Day picnic. Joy was with us, laying on her wheelchair bed. I noticed that Alex kept glancing over at her. And after a while, she said, "I don't mean to be rude, but what happened to her?" I explained Joy's condition very simply, and that satisfied Alex. I loved her wording, "I don't mean to be rude." Anyway, that little conversation made Alex more to me than a face. I've seen her at school many times, but I don't think we'd ever spoken. My prayers are with her, and you all.

Hey Corleys! Just LOVE that picture of Alex with Pluto! I'll bet that made her day. Wanted to let you know that we are praying for you daily and trusting God for good things! Keep looking to Jesus! Love and prayers, Carol

I found your blog today and wanted to let you know that I care about you five and am praying for you daily. You are a special family! My class will be praying for Alex's surgery tomorrow. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If I can ever help by babysitting for an afternoon or taking the kids for a weekend, I would love to. I really enjoy doing that. I'm thrilled Kaitlyn is in my class this year! Call anytime.
